DMFV Pilot is the aviation app for model airplane pilots and recreational multicopter pilots, to detect nofly-zones and restricted area. All areas are reported on a fluid moving map.
Model airplane pilots, multicopter and UAS pilots in Germany are allowed to fly at model airfields or everywhere else. However, pilots must complied with the current air traffic regulations, data protection laws, private property rules, state institutions a.s.o. . The list seems endless and some areas are easy to overlook. DMFV Pilot checks a constantly updated database, which restrictions are to be observed.
Avoid a fee for flying in restricted areas! Check before each flight at your current location, what restrictions apply.
DMFV pilot is free! User may use it anonymously and does not store any positions. You do not need to register for the basic functions. With active location services, the app finds your position and reports the situation with a color system (red, yellow, green).
Planning flights in advance? No problem! An intensive search finds any place and moves the map to that place. And right away, you will be given the information at this location, to be safe.
